(Creston) Creston Police arrested an Afton man on numerous charges, including assault on a Peace Officer following an incident in Creston.
Police charged 28-year old Casey Welcher with Interference with Official Acts, Assault on a Peace Officer without injury, 5th –degree Criminal Mischief, and Driving While Barred. Officers transported Welcher to the Union County Jail, where he is held on a $3,600 bond.
In a separate case; Police arrested 20-year old Joel William Blazek of Creston early this morning at Fremont and New York Streets for Driving While Suspended. Authorities transported Blazek to the Union County Jail, where he was released on bond.
