(Atlantic) The Atlantic School Board approved the master contracts for the certified and non-certified Staff at Wednesday’s school board meeting. Both parties agreed to a two-year contract.
The School Board and Certified Staff agreed on a three-percent total package increase for fiscal years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. The total package increase for the 2021-2022 fiscal year totals $213,022, and the increase for the 2022-2023 fiscal year totals $219,991.00. The deal includes an increase for each employee in each educational lane.
The Board of Education and Non-Certified Staff agreed to a 2.96-percent increase in the 2021-2022 fiscal year. The agreement includes a step movement for all 56 employees. All Employees will receive a $.30 per hour increase, a $.75 per hour increase for wait time, and a $.15 per hour increase for Head Cooks and Food Service Assistants. The total package cost is $91 711.21.
The 2022-2023 contract includes a step movement for all 56 employees of a $.35 per hour increase and a $.10 per hour increase for Head Cooks and Food Service Assistants. The 2.99 percent total package increase cost is $95,326.79.
