(Elk Horn) The sale of Spartan Strong face coverings by the Exira-EHK Leo Club has raised $1,800.
Junior Kate Hansen organized the TAG Service Project and designed the masks in honor of Elementary Principal Rochelle Bruns who lost her battle with cancer in the fall. Superintendent Trevor Miller says, “Kate Hansen was selling Spartan Strong masks as a tribute to Rochelle and that was impressive the number of masks she sold and how hard she worked on that.”
Proceeds will go to the LEO Club, the Rochelle Bruns Memorial, and support the high school Tag Service Trip in 2022.
