(Fort Dodge) Earlham finished second in the Class 1A Boy’s State Cross Country meet on Saturday at Fort Dodge. The Cardinals with four runners in the top twenty finished the day with 70 points, 12- points behind state champion Madrid.
ACGC finished fourth in the team race with 156 points, and Nodaway Valley was tenth with 269 points.
Zach Dixon and Jayden Dickson led Earlham with 4rth and 5th place finishes in the team scoring. Dominic Braet, 11th, Riley Harger, 19th, T.J. Harkins, 31st, Jack Flickinger, 55th and Sam Doud, 66th.
Trevin Suhr led ACGC in 16th place in the team scoring, Justin Reinhart, 25th, Kaden Thompson, 32nd, Andrew Mahaffey, 40th, Bo Arrasmith, 43rd, Lance Bunde, 51st, and Miles Kading, 72nd.
For Nodaway Valley, Doug Berg led the way in 14th in the team scoring, Toby Bower, 22nd, Ben Breheny, 41st, Gavin Shoemaker, 90th, Jaxon Christensen, 102nd, Jevin Christensen, 105th, Tyler Cooper, 107th.
Brett McGee finished 11th individually for Tri-Center, Quentin Dreyer of IKM/Manning, 24th, Colin Lillie, St. Albert, 26th, Ben Schroeder, Riverside, 59th, and Sean McGee, Tri-Center, 85th.
