(Creston) Creston Police arrested two people on drug possession charges.
Creston Police arrested 30-year old Cody J. Courtney early this morning at 403 E. Townline for possession of a controlled substance, 3rd offense. He is being held in the Union County Jail on a $5,000 bond. In addition to that, Courtney is being held on a Madison County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, and a Polk County Warrant for 4th –degree criminal mischief. Creston Police K9 Jax assisted with the arrest.
Police also arrested 46-year old Shannon Gandee of Creston on Tuesday at 403 E. Townline for possession of a controlled substance, 1st offense. She is being held in the Adams County Jail on a $1,000 bond. Creston Police K9 Jax assisted in this arrest as well.
In another case, Creston Police arrested 50-year old Matthew Boulder of Panora at the Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for 5th-degree theft. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300.00 bond.
