(Tabor) A Kansas woman suffers injuries in a motorcycle crash in Fremont County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 7:19 p.m. Saturday, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 29 near the 21-mile marker. Authorities say Tabor rescue transported a passenger, identified as 40-year old Vivian Dillard of Leavenworth, Kansas, to Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs for treatment.
According to the report; the southbound motorcycle, driven by 47-year old Stuart Moore, of Waterloo, Iowa, lost control and overturned several times before coming to rest in the median. Both Dillard and Moore were thrown from the bike and landed on the roadway, but were able to walk into the median to wait for assistance.
