(Creston) A Des Moines woman was transported to the hospital following a single vehicle accident in Creston Wednesday evening.
The Creston Police Department says 48-year-old Patricia Hobbs was driving a 2016 Hyundai east on Buckeye Street with a passenger side rear tire that was shredded and driving on the rim. The vehicle went off the roadway on the south side and struck a sign and stopped.
Creston Police said Hobbs was intoxicated and refused to submit to chemical testing.
Hobbs was transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center by EMS ground.
