(Elliott) An Arizona man faces assault and theft charges following an incident in Elliott.
Montgomery County Deputies arrested 23-year old Kyle Andrew Nicholson of Surprise, Arizona, on charges of serious assault and 5th-degree theft.
Deputies responded to the call at around 11:29 p.m. on Wednesday to the 200 block of 2nd Street in Elliott. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Nicholson assaulted a victim causing lacerations to the victim’s head. Nicholson is also accused of stealing the victim’s cellphone during the assault.
The Montgomery County K9 tracked down Nicholson at 4th and Linden Streets in Elliott. Officers transported him to jail. He is being held on a $1,000.00 cash bond.
