(Harlan) Former Harlan Cyclone Jordyn Moser wrapped up her four year career at Morningside last week. The point guard was a multi-year starter for a Mustang team that finished the season at 23-10.
Moser averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 assists per game as a senior. She takes a lot away from her college career. “The main part I’m thankful for is the friendships I’ve made, the relationships I have with my coaches, and everything basketball has brought me here at Morningside.”
Moser was asked if her college experience exceeded her expectations. “As a high school senior you don’t really know what to expect. I will say that playing college basketball has taught me life lessons you can’t get without playing the sport. You have the super highs and super lows and it has developed me as a person.”
She started all 33 games at point guard this season and did her best to take on a leadership role. “Especially in my junior and senior year I kind of became the voice on the court. I was told that I set the tone and based on the way I play and how hard I go will get the rest of my teammates going. My goal every game and every practice was to go out there with 100% effort.”
During Moser’s career the Mustangs compiled a record of 88-44. Click below to listen to the full interview with Jordyn Moser:
