(Audubon) The Audubon City Council has once again delayed a decision on the use of utility vehicles within city limits.
A special meeting will be held on March 23rd after two separate motions died due to lack of a second at Monday’s meeting. An area resident approached the council late last year about driving in from a rural area to clear snow from the parking lot at his church.
In other council news, an application for an Iowa Prison Industries home was approved. Here’s City Clerk Joe Foran says, “Iowa Prison Industries has built about 18 spec homes for about $75,000 each. They are available for different communities to put in to help their housing situation. The city is going to apply for one to be placed in here.”
The City Council this week approved Pay Application #4 to Building Crafts for the water meter replacement project which began in November.
