(Harlan) Two people were arrested on drug charges in Shelby County.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says Levi John Klenda, 19, of Kimballton, was arrested as a result of a traffic stop in Harlan on February 9th. Klenda was arrested for Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense and transferred to the Shelby County Jail without incident where he was held on $1,000 bond. He was released the following morning on his own recognizance and given a future court date for appearance.
Shaun Patrick Garner, 38, of Harlan, was arrested as a result of a traffic stop along Highway M47 on February 10th. Garner was charged with Prohibited Acts, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Garner was transported to the jail without incident and held on $3,300 bond until he was released earlier this morning on his own recognizance.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested David Robert Plagmann, 31, of Harlan, on February 5th on a warrant for charges filed from a pursuit through Shelby County on February 2nd. Plagmann was charged with Eluding and Reckless Driving. He was taken to the jail without incident and released a short time later after posting $2,300 surety bond.
Michael Allen Schuemann, 50, of Harlan, turned himself into authorities on February 8th for an active Violation of Probation warrant. Schuemann was released a short time later after posting the required $20,000 surety bond and given a future court date.
