For a 2nd straight night Kailey Jones scored 29 points. She also had 9 rebounds in Tuesday’s win. Kinsey Scheffler goes over 900 career points with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Julia Kock scored 15 while Claire Harris had 8 points and 11 assists. Ashlynn Amdor was Riverside’s high scorer with 9.
Atlantic 69, Clarinda 34
The Trojans were led by Haley Rasmussen’s 23 points and Mckenzie Waters pitched in 16. Atlantic sprinted ahead 26-7 by the end of the first quarter. Jesselee Neihart scored 10 for Clarinda.
Audubon 77, Missouri Valley 35
Audubon put up 53 points in the first half as they improve to 9-2. Leah Subbert, Aleah Hermansen, and Jaci Christensen all had 15 points each. The Wheelers shot 50% as a team for the game. Hermansen made all 5 free-throw, had 5 assists, and 8 steals. Christensen pulled in 6 boards and had 4 of the team’s 22 steals.
CAM 64, Boyer Valley 59
CAM trailed 47-40 after the 3rd, but outscored their opponents 24-12 in the 4th quarter. Sammi Jahde had 24 points and 4 steals. She made 5/10 3-pointers. Zoey Baylor’s stat line showed 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Marissa Spieker had 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. CAM moves to 9-2.
Glenwood 81, Harlan 45
The Cyclones made a game of it for three and a half quarters before Glenwood blew the contest open. Harlan’s Jocelyn Cheek connected on 5 of the team’s 8 3-pointers and scored a season high 15 points. Glenwood got 20 from Elle Scarborough and 17 out of Madison Camden.
