(Audubon) An Atlantic man was arrested on drug charges in Audubon County.
The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Michael David Parrott was arrested October 23rd at approximately 12:00 a.m. for Driving While Suspended, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The charges stem from a traffic stop that occurred on Highway 71 in Brayton. A Cass County Deputy and K9 assisted in this arrest. Parrott was transported to and held in the Audubon County Jail until the following morning when he appeared before the Magistrate and was released.
The Sheriff’s Office also arrested Tony Meyers, age 49, of Coon Rapids, for Driving While Suspended on October 25th. The charge stems from a traffic stop that occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Highway 71 in Audubon. Meyers was booked into the Audubon County Jail and held until he appeared in front of the Magistrate and was released the following morning.
Roger Thomas Waters Jr., age 59, of Audubon, was charged with Theft 3rd on October 14th. The charge stems from a search warrant that was conducted at his residence on October 2nd. Waters appeared before the Magistrate and was released.
Tyler Lee Carter, age 28, of Adair, was arrested on October 31st at approximately 6:00 p.m. in Shelby County on an outstanding warrant for Reckless Use of a Firearm. He was transported to and booked into the Audubon County Jail. Carter was held until the following morning when he appeared before the Magistrate and released.
