(Undated) — A poll by the American Psychiatric Association shows 41 percent of U.S. adults expect to feel more stress this holiday season than last year. Clinical psychologist Carrie Ditzel says in order to help your mental health during the holiday season, you may have to say no to certain things.
Ditzel says folks who are stressed out may need to cut out some of the holiday activities and shopping.
The poll also shows nearly half of adults say they are worried about missing someone or grief. Nearly half also say they are worried about affording or finding holiday gifts.
