Union Veterans of the Civil War Presentation

This Sunday, March 22, beginning at 2 pm at American Legion Memorial Building, three members of Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) will be presenting local history of volunteers. They included 97 men from Cass County who were in Company “I” of the 23rd Iowa Volunteer Infantry. Locating their graves to place markers and honor their service is one of the goals. The program is sponsored by Atlantic Rock Island Society Enterprise. This is the program postponed from last week.
