Dutch oven Cooking
A Dutch oven cooking class will be held on Monday, March 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the nature center at Nishna Bend Recreation Area. We will be making Cheddar Bay Beef Cobbler, Taco Bake, Monterrey Chicken Bake, French Onion Meatballs, Cheesy Ranch Potatoes with Smoked Sausage, Creamy Noodles Romanoff, Peacan Pie Dump Cake, and Gooey Pumpkin Cake. We will go over the basics and then prepare, cook, and eat everything. The cost of the class is $15 for over the age of 12, $10 for ages 6 to 12, and free for ages 5 and under. Preregistration is required and can be done by calling Iowa Western Community College at 712-755-3568.
