(Council Bluffs) Two people were arrested on Assault charges in Pottawattamie County.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says Selena Naomi Herrera, 24, was arrested August 1st after Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance. Herrera was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness.
Darren Keith Brooks, 52, of Oakland, was arrested August 1st after Deputies were called to a domestic disturbance. Brooks was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense. Brooks was arrested again on August 2nd for Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order.
The Sheriff’s Office also reports Brett Tyler Martin, 25, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense following a personal injury accident on Elmtree Road near Griswold on July 30th.
Trent Matthew Suhr, 36, of Walnut, was charged with OWI 3rd or Subsequent Offense on August 1st and issued a citation for speeding.
