(Atlantic) An Atlantic man is lucky for life after his winning lottery ticket worth $25,000 was drawn last week.
Delbert Littleton, 62, from Atlantic buys a “Lucky for Life” lottery ticket weekly, and has won a few times, but nothing this large. He pays $4.00 for two sets of numbers on the same ticket. He purchased this particular ticket on June 12; the drawing was June 15. The following morning Littleton looked on the app and read the numbers.
Littleton says after discovering the windfall; he woke up his wife to share the great news.
Littleton says they decided to forego the $25,000, which is paid over 20-years and elected to take the cash sum.
Littleton says they’re buying a new car, selling their home, purchasing a new home, and investing the rest of the money.
Lucky for Life costs $2 per play. The buyer chooses five out of 48 numbers and then chooses one out of 18 numbers for the Lucky Ball.
