(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested two people following a traffic stop early this morning.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 34 near Eastern Avenue and arrested 50-year old James Keith Saufley, of Villisca for driving with a suspended license. Officer’s also arrested a passenger, 49-year old Noble Conn of Cleveland, Tennessee, for a warrant out of Missouri for writing bad checks.
Authorities transported both men to the Montgomery County Jail.
Saufley is held on a $566.25 bond. Conn is being held on no bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Red Oak Police Department with the investigation.
