(Clarke County) Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Clarke County.
The Iowa State Patrol Crash report says the accident happened at 4:55 p.m. on Highway 169, ½ miles south of H45. Authorities identified the injured persons as 46-year old Robert McGuire of Leon, and 41-year old Caleb Danley of Osceola. Air Ambulance transported both men to trauma Centers in Des Moines.
According to the report, a northbound 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by McGuire crossed the centerline and crashed head-on with a southbound 2005 Chevy Impala.
The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office and the Osceola Fire Department assisted the Iowa State Patrol.
