Clayton Akers was feeling it with a career high 33 points. The senior made 8 3-pointers, giving him 32 3-pointers made for the year. 14-2 AHSTW also got 11 points from Cole Scheffler. Raydden Grobe had 10 points and 6 rebounds. Missouri Valley’s high scorer was Gavin Bartalini with 21 points.
Audubon 53, Riverside 46
Marcus Olsen had 14 points and 12 rebounds to help the Wheelers end a 4 game slide. Skyler Schultes had 9 of his 13 in the first half while Gavin Smith scored 6 of his 11 in the 3rd quarter. Drake Woods led Riverside with a career high 21 and Brogan Allensworth scored 16.
Harlan 54, Denison-Schleswig 48
Connor Bruck scored 18 points including 13 in the 2nd half to lead Harlan to a big win. Michael Erlemeier contributed 10 points in the victory. Denison-Schleswig was led by Charlie Wiebers with 19. Goanar Billiew had 12.
Kuemper Catholic 64, Atlantic 60
Atlantic rallied back from 16 down to get within one in the closing moments. Dayton Templeton scored 18 points and Garrett Reynolds finished with 10–both are career highs. Nile Peteren scored 16 and Craig Alan Becker 11 including a big offensive rebound and 3-pointer in the late stages. Becker matches his career high of 11. Kyle Berg led the Knights with 24 points.
Nodaway Valley 62, Bedford 54
The Wolverines go to 9-5 overall and 6-3 in the Pride of Iowa. Joshua Baudler and Tyler Vandewater each scored 14 with Baudler also having 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Clay Hohertz, Toby Bower, and Mason Menefee all scored 10 with Hohertz snaring 12 rebounds. Bedford’s Brennan Sefrit had a game high 21 points and Cooper Nally scored 15.
Woodward-Granger 70, ACGC 53
The Chargers were led in scoring by Miles Kading with 14 points. He made 4/6 beyond the arc. Eli Kading had 12 points and 6 rebounds. ACGC attempted 26 free-throws, but made just 12. Woodward-Granger shot 55% from the field.
