Winter Weather Advisory

(Des Moines) The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Southwest Iowa until 9:00 a.m. this morning.

Forecasters expect freezing drizzle with total ice accumulations of a light glaze to a few hundredths of an inch.

Motorists should plan on slippery roads, bridges, and sidewalks in some portions of southwest and western Iowa this morning.
