Cass County Supervisors to interview applicant for Engineer’s position

(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors will interview an applicant for the County Engineer’s position Tuesday.

The Supervisors have been searching for an Engineer since Charles Bechtold’s resignation in October. A former county Engineer, Charles Marker, is filling in as interim Engineer. The Supervisors will go into closed session Tuesday for consideration regarding hiring an applicant for the position.

The Supervisors will also hear other Department reports, discuss budget considerations, and take action on assignment of a tax sale certificate for lot 1, block 7 and lot 6, block 6 and a vacated street between two lots in Massena.

The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room at the Cass County Courthouse in Atlantic.
