(Des Moines) A storm system moved across the area Friday night and Saturday and dropped anywhere from one-half inch to just over one-inch of rain in parts of southwest and Central Iowa.
According to the National Weather Service in Des Moines, Creston received 1.14 inches of rain, Atlantic, .60, Audubon, .50, Harlan, .61, and Massena, .69.
Drizzle is in the forecast for today with a high temperature of 39 and a low of 22. Monday’s forecast calls for flurries with a high temperature of 29 degrees and a low of 20. The forecast for the rest of the week is for sunny skies with highs in the low 30’s on Tuesday. The outlook for Wednesday through Saturday shows above-normal temperatures, with high’s in the low to mid 40’s and lows in the upper 20’s.
