(Shenandoah) Two people were hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Page County.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on Saturday between K and L Avenue. Authorities say the driver, 80-year old Thomas Joseph Pedersen and a passenger, 49-year old Melissa Renee Pedersen both from Clarinda, were injured in the crash.
According to the press release; Thomas Pedersen was driving a westbound 2017 Buick Enclave when he lost control and entered the south ditch.
Thomas Pedersen was transported to the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Melissa Pedersen was taken to the Clarinda Regional Health Center with unknown injuries.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says charges are pending. The damage to the vehicle is estimated at $3,500.00
The Clarinda Ambulance and the Clarinda Fire Department assisted the Page County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
