(Tipton) One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in Cedar County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened at approximately 11:07 a.m. at 1937 Highway 38 near Tipton.
A 2015 Freightliner Cascadia semi was backing across the roadway into a private drive when the front of a 2016 Dodge Dart collided with the left side of the semi’s trailer.
The accident remains under investigation. No additional details have been released.
