(Red Oak) Several people were arrested as a result of an approximately six-week-long narcotics investigation in Red Oak.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office executed two search warrants on July 21. The first warrant was executed at 108 W. Nuckols Street at approximately 9:12 a.m., followed by a second warrant at 307 W. Washington at approximately 9:18 a.m.
Angela Dawn Jones, 55, and Chad Michael Hill, 48, both of Red Oak, were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver. Both are currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond. Items seized in this warrant served at 108 W Nuckols Street included a substantial amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug related items, as well as cash.
Items seized during the warrant at 307 W Washington included a substantial amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug related items and cash.
Jason Rolfe Aherns, 38, of Red Oak, was charged with four counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Tony Lee King, 40, of Red Oak, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver.
Ashley Nicole King, 33, of Elliott, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 2nd Offense.
Michael Allen Jensen, 61, of Red Oak, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
All individuals were held in the Montgomery County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Red Oak Police Department.
On July 21st, two additional arrests were made on unrelated circumstances.
The Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1600 block of Highway 71 at 7:08 a.m. for a car vs deer accident. As a result of the investigation, 52-year-old David Howard Lynch, of Clarinda, was arrested for Public Intoxication and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was taken before the Magistrate where he pled guilty and was sentenced to two days incarceration.
Nicole Samantha Storey, 36, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. for Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs. Storey was held in the Montgomery County Jail on $5,000 cash only bond.
In other activity, the Red Oak Police Department arrested 39-year-old Adam Milford Souza, of Red Oak, on July 21st for Burglary 1st Degree. He was held without bond until seen by a magistrate.
