Work Release Resident Jolyn Beaver Fails to Return in Des Moines

(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Corrections says 23-year-old Jolyn Marie Beaver failed to return to the Fresh Start Women’s Center as required on July 10th, 2026.

Beaver is serving time for Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon in Polk County, along with additional convictions for Theft and Extortion.

Beaver is a 5’5″ , 206-pound, white female. She was admitted to the work release facility on June 8th, 2026.

The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking assistance from the public in locating Beaver. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
