(Tama, IA) — A benefit being held Saturday will help an Iowa soldier seriously hurt in an Iranian drone attack in Kuwait.
Master Sergeant Josh Steinback is living in Maryland while he receives treatment for his injuries at Walter Reed Medical Center. Jeff Large is Post Commander at the Tama American Legion, where the fundraiser is being held on Saturday.
Large says they’re still taking donations for the benefit.
Sergeant Steinback was injured in the drone attack that killed two Iowa soldiers in March.
