(Exira) Exira is preparing to welcome thousands of cyclists as an official meeting town on day two of RAGBRAI.
Riders will leave Harlan on Monday morning, July 20, and travel through Exira on their way to the next overnight stop in Guthrie Center.
Exira City Clerk Meg Andersen said this year’s theme is “X Marks the Spot.”
Andersen says the community has planned a variety of activities and attractions to welcome riders and visitors throughout the day.
She is also reminding residents and visitors to be aware of road closures on Monday.
