(Hamburg) A former Hamburg man is facing multiple felony charges following a lengthy investigation into a reported sexual assault.
According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, 51-year-old Richard Dean Robinson was arrested on July 2. Robinson, formerly of Hamburg and now residing in Nebraska City, Nebraska, is charged with incest, a Class D felony; lascivious acts, including one Class A felony count and one Class C felony count; and two counts of third-degree sexual abuse involving a child victim, both Class C felonies, including one count alleging the victim was related by blood.
Authorities say the arrest follows a lengthy investigation into a reported sexual assault that allegedly occurred in Hamburg in February 2026. During the investigation, Fremont County investigators identified additional juvenile victims, with alleged incidents dating back to January 2025.
Following his initial appearance before a Fourth Judicial District Magistrate, Robinson was ordered held in the Fremont County Jail on a $45,000 cash-only bond.
