(Adams Co.) The Adams County Historic Preservation Commission will host Adams County Remembers, (postponed from June 14), at the Old North Quincy Pioneer Cemetery on Sunday, June 28 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
The Open House, celebrating the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence 250 years ago, will include a cemetery tour beginning at 2:30 pm and an exhibit commemorating those who served in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 with a connection to Adams County families.
The cemetery is located north of Corning on Highway 148 to the Carbon Corner and then west to Hickory Avenue and north to the cemetery on the east side of the road. A ride will be provided from the entrance on the road up to the cemetery for those in need of assistance.
