(Greenfield) Adair County Sheriff Jeff Vandewater reports two arrests—one for Failure to Appear, and the other for OWI.
According to the complaint and affidavit, 31-year-old Corry Daniel Burton of Des Moines was arrested on June 19, near the 88-mile marker on Interstate 80. During the investigation, authorities arrested Burton on charges of OWI-1st Offense, Child Endangerment, and Reckless Driving. Burton was taken to the Adair County Jail and held on a $3,000 bond. He was released the following day.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Rigoberto Aguilar, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on June 20 on Interstate 80, for an outside warrant for Failure to Appear on an initial appearance on November 11, 2025. Adair County Authorities released Aguilar back
to the Iowa State Patrol on the Polk County arrest warrant.
