(West Point) Three people suffered injuries in a UTV accident in Lee County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 8:01 p.m. at St. Paul Road and 228th Avenue north of West Point. Authorities identified the injured individuals as 40-year-old Scott Grelk, of Donnellson, Iowa, 35-year-old Joshua Miller, of Burlington, Iowa, and 35-year-old Andrew Bowers of West Point.
According to the report, 33-year-old Colton Hurt, of West Point, was driving a 2015 Polaris UTV and entered the intersection, lost control, and rolled over.
Air EVAC transported Grelk to the University of Iowa Hospitals, and Miller and Bowers were not transported.
The Iowa State was assisted by Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County Communications, Lee County EMS, West Point Rescue, and AIR EV.
