(Atlantic) The Atlantic Fire Department responded to a barn fire north of Atlantic early this morning.
Atlantic Fire Chief Tom Cappel says the call went out at around 4:43 at 61344 Boston Road. Cappel says when they arrived, the structure had collapsed to the ground. He says electrical issues may have caused the fire at a power pole near the barn.
Chief Cappel says there were no injuries. The fire department was on scene for about 30-45 minutes. Cappel says the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
