(Atlantic) The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting this morning for the new Eye Associates clinic.
The new building is approximately 6,900 square feet and is used by Optometrist Dr. Jeff Goergen as well as by Dr. Jesse Himebaugh and Dr. David Ingvoldstad, visiting ophthalmologists from Midwest Eye Care.
Dr. Jeff Goergen said the new building is a win for small town America, specifically Atlantic, Iowa and Cass County.
Dr. Goergen spoke about the three things he is the most proud of.
Dr. Goergen thanked everyone involved in making the new building a reality.
Construction on the building, located at 1501 E. 7th Street in Atlantic, began last summer. Eye Associates officially opened to the public on Monday.
