(Anita, IA) — Crestwood Hills Golf Course hosted the Rolling Valley Conference Meet on Thursday and Braxton Dennis took home the individual title and helped CAM win on their home course by two strokes. Coon Rapids Bayard dominated the girls tournament — winning by 21 strokes over CAM.
Anna Hart of CRB tied with her cousin Kerra Hart with 97 and won on the tiebreaker which was the 18th hole. Kendra Nelson of CAM finished third with a 99 which included her first ever birdie. Brielle Bass of the Crusaders was 4th with a 100 and Reese Miller of Boyer Valley 5th with a 101.
Also for CAM: Hallie Keeler was 7th with a 105; Kesley Platt 9th with a 108; Kaitlyn Platt 11th with a 110; Brooklynne Zimmerline 14th with a 112; and Kambry Langfelt shot a126.
The boys meet was very competitive with three strokes separating the top three teams — CAM won with a 317 while Woodbine and Boyer Valley tied for 2nd with a 319 — the Tigers took home 2nd on the tiebreaker. CRB, Glidden Ralston and Exira EHK rounded out the field.
Dennis won for the Cougars with a birdie on hole #1 — he teed off #8. He had 8 bogeys, 8 pars, and one double bogey. Madden Cary finished 5th with a 79 that included a birdie on #7. Kayden Winther was 10th with a 81; Kamden Wahlert 14th with an 83; Kason Calhoun 17th with an 83; and Erik Almelian 27th with an 89.
Tristen Burkhart of Boyer Valley was Runner Up with a 76; Noah Hefferman of BV 3rd with a 79; Brayden Blum had the low round for Woodbine and was 4th with a 79.
Low round for Exira EHK was Austin Rasmussen in 19th place with an 84; Owen Juhl shot a 90; Jack Hansen 97; and Thomas Petersen a 108.
