(Montgomery Co.) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved the Secondary Roads FY2027 IDOT Budget and the FY2027 Five Year Construction Plan.
County Engineer Karen Albert highlighted some of the projects in the plan for fiscal year 2027…
Plans in Fiscal Year 2028 include an overlay on M47 north, and bridge projects on 242nd Street, 250th Street, and 120th Street. Albert noted that these plans are not set in stone, projects can get pushed back or moved forward based on bridge expansion or where they stand financially.
In other news, the Supervisors approved the Solutions agreement for the Recorder’s portion for FY27 in the amount of $7,310.24. They also approved a request to use the Montgomery County Courthouse lawn for the Iowa 99 County Bible Reading Marathon on Tuesday, July 7, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Additionally, they approved a resolution for the assignment of a tax certificate for a parcel located at 500 E. Nuckols Street in Red Oak.
