(Los Angeles, CA) — Addy Brown is leaving Iowa St. for the west coast — announcing on Thursday that she will finish her college basketball career with the defending national champion UCLA.
Brown is a 6’2″ forward from Derby, KS who averaged 11.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game for the Cyclones this season. She is a career 36.7 percent shooter from three point land and recorded the 4th triple double in ISU history last November. She has one season of eligibility remaining. UCLA set a record with six players taken in the first round of the WNBA Draft. Brown will become an instant starter for the Bruins and joins other transfers Elina Aarisalo from UNC, Donovyn Hunter from TCU and Bonnie Deas from Arkansas.
Brown is the last player that has left Iowa St. to find a new home.
