(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska has made another addition in the transfer portal as guard Taj DeGourville has left San Diego St. for the Cornhuskers.
DeGourville is a 6’5″ player from Las Vegas who played in 33 games for the Aztecs starting in five of them and averaged 5.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds a game. He was 19 of 55 from three point land for 34.5 percent. DeGourville is considered a solid defender with the size to be mismatches for offensive guards — he has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
DeGourville is the 5th player to come to Nebraska via the transfer portal joining Sam Orme, Kadyn Betts, Trevan Leonhardt, and Boden Kapke. Currently, Head Coach Fred Hoiberg’s roster is sitting at 14 players so there is potentially room for one more player.
Meanwhile, Ugnius Jarusevicius put his name in the transfer portal just before it closed this past Tuesday — Jarusevicius is seeking a medical redshirt after only playing one game for the Huskers last season.
