(Harlan) Harlan defended their home track at the Koos Relays on Monday night with 156 points. AHSTW finished close behind with 136 points in the seven-team field.
Harlan set the tone early. The quartet of Daniels, Nelson, Wegner, and Heslink kicked the night off in the 800 Sprint Medley, racing to a first-place finish in 1:56.31. The momentum carried into the distance events, where Sadie Alberti and Ava Fruend claimed first and second in matching times of 12:56.65 and 12:57.82 respectively.
Rau, Bieker, Sonderman, and Anderson battled to a second-place finish in the 4×800 relay, while the Shuttle Hurdle team of Van Baale, Mages, Daniels, and Sonderman surged to victory in 1:12.95. In the 4×200 relay, E. Nelson, B. Nelson, Van Baale, and Wegner claimed second in 1:54.83.
Individually, in the 100 Meter Hurdles Ari Daniels and Ainsley Mages finished second and third in 13.29, and 13.63. Julia Heslink took command of the 800 meters, crossing first in 2:21.52, while Ashlyn Rau dominated the 1500 in 5:19.57, with Josie Sonderman finishing third. Rau had this after claiming victory in the 1500 Meters.

Harlan placed fourth in the 4×100 relay (53.90) and answered back with another relay triumph, as Alberti, Wegner, Van Baale, and Heslink powered to victory in 4:14.45.
AHSTW kept the pressure on all evening, finishing with 136 points. Their 4×800 relay team of A. Paulsen, Wyman, M. Paulsen, and Lamp claimed gold in 10:43.36, and the 4×200 squad followed with another win in 1:52.49. Bella Lamp led the charge, winning the 400 meters in 1:04.16 and the 400 hurdles in 1:08.61, later helping the 4×400 relay team to a second-place finish. By night’s end, Lamp had collected three gold medals and a runner-up finish.

Across the field, standout performances continued. Sara Munn of Denison-Schleswig cleared 5-02 to win the high jump, while Taylor Hoefer of Woodbine soared to victory in the long jump at 14-11.50. Kya Clark sprinted to wins in both the 100 (13.29) and 200 meters (27.09), and the Distance Medley Relay team of Neddermeyer, Munn, Schrum, and Cue claimed another victory in 4:42.73.
Jenessa Kolar of OABCIG captured the 100-meter hurdles in 16.72, and OABCIG’s 4×100 relay team of Youngren, Godbersen, Hansen, and Schnabel raced to first in 52.31.
