(Atlantic) The Atlantic boys’ golf team will get another test when they face off against Kuemper at the Carroll Municipal Golf Course.
Atlantic Head Coach Kendra Henningsen. The Trojans are coming off an impressive start to the season last Thursday at the Des Moines Christian Invitational at Jester Park with a first-place team score of 304.
Henningsen also liked the way the team handled the short game, this early in the season. Henningsen pointed toward Gage Gross’s short game. Gage Gross won the individual title with a one-under-par 71.
The Trojans have a busy week of competition with the Kuemper dual starting at 4:30 p.m., and finish off the week with an eighteen-hole tournament at Shenandoah on Tuesday, and Clarinda on Thursday.
