(Red Oak) Montgomery County Supervisor Chairperson Charla Schmid approved canceling the April 14th regular Board meeting, due to the closing of the Treasurer’s and Auditor’s Office for training.
Montgomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna says both offices will close on Tuesday, April 14, and Friday, April 17.
The cancellation of the meeting is under the board chairperson’s discretion.
The only other action items on the agenda included the Recorders, Sheriff’s, and Claims financial reports.
The Supervisors approved the recorder’s fees for March 31 of $17,385.00. The Sheriff’s Report of fees for March 31, totaling $6,163.69, and claims payable for April 8, totaling $ 249,806.98.
The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. However, the public hearing for the Montgomery County Fiscal Year 2027 budget adoption and certification will be held on April 14 at 9:15 a.m.
