(Spencer) One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Clay County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Tuesday, at around 9:45 p.m. on M-50 and 340th Street. Authorities say 69-year-old Mone Keoninh, of Ruthven, Iowa, succumbed to injuries because of the accident.
According to the report, Keoninh was driving a northbound 2014 Camry on M-50 and turned left in front of a 2000 Peterbilt semi, driven by Kevin Hofman of Sanborn, Iowa. Hofman was not injured in the accident.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Spencer Fire and Ambulance.
