(Adair Co.) A Greenfield man was arrested on March 11th after officers were called to a report of a man threatening others with a knife. The Greenfield Police Department says 69-year-old Alfonso Ramirez-Meneses was charged with three counts of Assault – Display Dangerous Weapon, and Going Armed with Intent. Ramirez-Meneses was held on no bond on the state of Iowa charges. He also has an ICE detainer.
The Greenfield Police Department also arrested Michelle Ann Day, 50, of Greenfield, on March 10th for Assault with Bodily Injury. Day was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
