(Cass Co.) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported six arrests between March 7 and March 11 involving charges including theft, controlled substance possession, parole violations, and failure to appear in court.
On March 7th, Benjamin Michael Deal, 36, of Walnut, was arrested on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Deal was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held.
On March 7th, Guy Sedrick Wilcox, 31, of Ottumwa, was arrested on the charge of Theft 2nd Degree (larceny). Wilcox was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held. The charge stems from an investigation into a truck stolen from Griswold on October 30th, 2025. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wapello County Treasures Office and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 9th, James Bernard Block, 46, of Cumberland, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving Under Suspension. Block was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held. On March 10th, Block was additionally charged with Violation of Parole. Block was held without bond.
On March 10th, Charles Albert Mace Jr., 35, of Griswold, was arrested for Violation of Parole. Mace was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held without bond.
On March 10th, Angela Jean Crisafi, 55, of Griswold, was arrested on the charge of Interference with Official Acts. Crisafi was transported to the Cass County Jail where she was booked and held.
On March 11th, Mikel Ann Erickson, 35, of Lewis, was arrested on a Cass County warrant for Failure to Appear. Erickson was transported to the Cass County Jail where she was booked and held.
