(Trenton, IA) — A fatal one car accident occurred near Trenton, IA south of Iowa City and just outside Mt. Pleasant, IA on Friday afternoon. A juvenile was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder southbound on Franklin Ave and failed to negotiate a curve, losing control and rolling multiple times. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle was ejected and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The juvenile was from Wayland, IA and was not wearing a seatbelt.
