(Lorimor) One person received minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Union County.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened early this (Monday) morning on Owl Avenue. Authorities say 21-year-old Damon Michael Hayes, of Afton, was taken by private vehicle to Greater Regional Health for treatment of minor injuries.
According to the report, Hayes was driving southbound in a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, and failed to negotiate a curve, entered the east ditch, and rolled through several feet of barbed wire fencing.
The pickup was towed from the field by a private vehicle.
