(Bremer County) One person died, and five others suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Bremer County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 1:30 Saturday afternoon, at 190th and Piedmont Avenue. Authorities say 41-year-old Lungawia Chalthleng of Urbandale died in the crash. The injured are identified as 51-year-old Hming Chunga, of Des Moines, 47-year-old Esther Sui Iang of Des Moines, 83-year-old Marvin Drewis of Waverly, 47-year-old Lal Pui Puia Sai Lo, of Des Moines, and 82-yearold Trivona Drewis, of Waverly.
According to the report, a 2022 Toyota Tacoma driven by Lal Pui Puia Sai Lo failed to yield to a posted stop sign and struck the driver’s side of a 2018 Ford F150 driven by Trivona Drewis.
