(Shelby Co) The Shelby County Engineer’s Office says starting Monday, August 25, crews will begin repaving County Road M-16.
County Road M-16 will be closed to thru traffic from the City of Shelby to State Highway 44. Additionally, County Road M-16 from State Highway 44 to County Road F-32 will be closed at a later date as this project continues.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes unless they need access to property along the affected portions of the road. Officials urge motorists to be mindful of workers and equipment in the construction zone. Line markings will not be in place during the project, so drivers should use extra caution when traveling.
Construction is expected to last until Late-October depending on the weather.
